What does the diving course include?

    Access to official PADI materials so you can study at your own pace before the course.

The complete course has a value of $500
You can choose between two payment options:

  • 2 payments of $250
  • 3 payments : $200 initial + 2 payments of $150

The total amount must be paid by June 7th to secure your spot.

Do I need previous experience to take this course?

No. This course is designed for beginners . You'll learn from scratch, step by step, with certified instructors who will be with you every step of the way.

What if I can't swim very well?

You don't need to be an expert swimmer. You just need to feel comfortable in the water. Training begins in a calm, shallow area of the ocean , ideal for familiarizing yourself.

What does the course include and what should I bring?

The course includes access to the online theory course, a certified instructor, full scuba gear, a boat, practice sessions, four dives, and a PADI certification. All you need is comfortable clothing, a swimsuit, a towel, biodegradable sunscreen, and a water bottle.

What happens if I can't attend the final?

Don't worry. You can cancel at any time. We don't offer refunds, but you can transfer your spot to another person or reschedule at least 7 days in advance, subject to availability for the next course.

Where is the course held and when should I arrive?

The course takes place in Playas del Coco , Guanacaste. We recommend arriving by Friday, June 13th, so you're ready and rested for the start.

Do you help with transportation or accommodation?

We coordinate carpooling between participants to facilitate transportation. Accommodation is NOT included , but we can recommend options near the dive center.

Once we're full, we could coordinate internally within the group to see if we can all rent something out. However, this all depends on each participant and whether everyone feels comfortable.

What happens if there is bad weather?

If BA Divers (the dive center) cancels due to weather or force majeure reasons, the course will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
